Meet the Brains Behind Our Institution!
Victoria Nguyen founded Luxo Nail Spa during the pandemic. She later connected with her future business partner, Sandy Nguyen, through Facebook, and their partnership began after Sandy attended her annual appreciation event. When a space opened in Wicker Park, Victoria seized the opportunity to build a modern salon concept supported by Sandy’s twenty years of salon ownership in Chicago.
During COVID, Victoria extensively researched the nail industry up close by frequently visiting salons, learning best practices and studying hygiene expectations. Her research helped clarify the requirements of the nail industry. This further helped her develop a business model built on plant-based products, work habits, and an efficient service flow.
